Our local staff will pick you up at your hotel in Kuşadası, Selçuk or Selçuk train station/bus station if you join from another city.

The Temple of Artemis(Diana)

The visit to the Temple of Artemis will take about 30 minutes.

The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus was built to honor Artemis, one of three maiden goddesses of Olympus.
This temple is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
It was built in Ephesus, which today is in Selçuk, Turkey.
It had to be rebuilt at least 3 times due to fire, flood, and a mob that was determined to destroy it.
Each time it was rebuilt it became larger and even more beautiful and impressive.
The Temple of Artemis is also known as the Temple of Diana.

The Virgin Mary's House

The visit to Virgin Mary's House will take about 1 hour.

The House of the Virgin Mary is at the top of Bülbül Mountain.
The house was discovered in the 19th century when Catherine Emmerich(1775-1824), an invalid German nun, who had never visited Ephesus, described in great detail the house and its situation as she had seen them in a vision.
It is believed that St.John brought Mary (the mother of Jesus) to Ephesus sometime between AD 37-48 and that she spent the last years of her life there.

Have lunch at a restaurant in Selçuk.

The Ancient City of Ephesus

The visit to Ephesus will take about 2 hours.

You will see one of the world's most magnificent ancient sites.
You will be able to see every step of the dozens of historical artifacts.
The Odeon, the Fountain of Trajan, the Terrace Houses, the Baths of Scholastika, the Temple of Hadrian, and the impressive Celsius Library.
The library is adorned with columns and statues.
The magnificent Grand Theatre, where Saint Paul preached, is the largest theatre in antiquity with a capacity of 24,000 seats.

Leather (Shopping)

The visit to a local leather goods store will take about 30 minutes.

Kuşadası is well known for its leather products.
You have a chance to watch the fashion show there.

Isabey Mosque

The visit to Isabey Mosque will take about 30 minutes.

*It's currently under restoration.

The Isabey Mosque is a beautiful example of Seljuk Turkish architecture in an atmospheric location.
It is the oldest known example of a Turkish mosque with a courtyard.
The Mosque was built in 1375 at the direction of the Emir of Aydın.
Columns and stones from the ruins of the city of Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis have been incorporated into the building.
The mosque was restored in 1934.

You drive back to your hotel in Kuşadası, Selçuk or Selçuk train station/bus station.


- English-guided tour with around 12 participants.
- The free pick-up area is only in Selçuk and Kuşadası. Transfers from Izmir Airport are extra.
- "Terrace House" in the Ephesus ruins is not included in the itinerary.
- Depending on the situation, the itinerary might be changed.
